We assist and represent clients with the Canadian government on immigration matters, and help you work out the best route to visit, study, work or live in Canada.
Our main services
- eTA — Electronic Travel Authorization. Required to fly to Canada if you are a citizen of a visa-exempt country. Mexican citizens can use the eTA route only if they hold a valid US non-immigrant visa or held a Canadian visa in the last 10 years; otherwise a visitor visa is the route. We confirm which applies to you before anything is filed.
- Visitor visa (TRV). For travel to Canada where an eTA is not available to you, including extensions of a stay from inside the country.
- Study permit. For programmes longer than six months, including the letter of acceptance, proof of funds and the post-graduation work options that follow.
- Work permit. Employer-specific and open permits, and the CUSMA professional category for citizens of the United States and Mexico — CUSMA replaced NAFTA on 1 July 2020.
- Business and investment. Routes for owners and investors opening or expanding into the Canadian market. See business and investment.
- Permanent residence. Federal and provincial routes, and an honest read on whether your profile is competitive before you commit to one.
What working with us looks like
We start by establishing what you actually qualify for — nationality, history, how you intend to arrive and what you want afterwards. Then the file: the forms, the supporting documents, and the details that cause avoidable refusals, such as a passport number keyed wrong or an admissibility question answered carelessly. Once it is submitted we follow it through to the decision.
Not sure which of these applies to you? Write to info@gerservices.ca with your nationality, your purpose of travel and your timing, and we will tell you which route fits.
